We're getting ready!

With little sister set to arrive in April, we've begun to get things ready for the big day. The first step was to get Emily situated in what used to be the guest bed. She'd been in a twin since she was two, but now that baby gets the guest room, Emily gets the full bed. This called for an all-day shopping trip to Birmingham for new bedding and the fixings. By the end of the day, she had a new quilt, sheets, pillows, a lamp and a rug!

Now the crib is assembled in baby's room and the bedding has been retrieved from the attic. Next step - paint the room! Jeff is planning to tackle that project this weekend, then we can put the finishing touches on and start bringing down the other baby gear from the attic.

It's hard to believe how close April is. We are all getting very excited!!
