Christmas vacation

I thought the day after Christmas would be back to business as usual, but boy, was I wrong. It brought more fun and adventure as we packed up and went to Colorado with my great-uncle Richard and his family. It was pretty cold up there in the mountains and they had some snow when we got there. Even more fell while we were there.

One afternoon Daddy put my seat in the Mule and we went for a ride in the woods. It was pretty bumpy but it was fun. The grownups tell me we’ll probably never have that kind of snow in Mississippi. We had to cut our trip short when the storm moved in. Otherwise we might have gotten snowed in out there. It was still a really fun trip, playing in the snow and with everyone.
